Racing around the Sun

So, um, yea. I'm 18 today. Officially an adult, old enough to vote for my country and die for my country. Day to day life seems to go by so slowly, and yet in the blink of an eye, we're grown up, and the chance to seize our dreams are slipping past.
We look at ourselves and realize just how little we are, or how short our lives are. But then we look again, and we can see the potential, the impact we can make on the world. It's a sobering thought, and life is not something to be taken lightly.
I have more to say, but I'm going to start sounding sappy. So rather, I'll finish with this.
Life flashes past us, but stretches on into eternity. Live life to the fullest, and never, ever, let your dreams pass you by.

This is my favourite blog post.
I think you sounded reflective, not sappy. But I see how it could have gone that way.
I hope you had a great birthday.

They didn't apply directly to my life and weren't encouraging. Or as thought provoking making me examine my life.

But I'm sure they stimulated other peoples brains.

. . .

statements like this make me cry at night.

I try to find issues that do effect you, and most other people, in as many ways as you can name. We've all had to change how we live our lives because of alot of the events Ive picked up.
As for encouragment, that lies in that i try to point out what we're losing, and what we have yet to lose. Life is not a game, and you are not entitled to a happy ending.

If you want a happy ending, you must work for it.
