Scotland

Well, as of tomorrow, I'm on a plane, and on my way to Scotland for 10 days. I'll be sure to take lots of pictures, and get hem up someplace for you all to see when i get back.

Have you all been trying to figure out that riddle? Any political/religiouse/noteworthy happenings in your life or area? I've been playing host to alot of Christian church groups and camps as of late at work. It strikes me that this is how it works, weather they know it or not.

  • Come to camp, learn and praise god/Christ
  • go to arcade and have fun

You might not pick up on this, but it's a trained, or conditioned response, most easily seen in dogs.

  • Preform trick
  • Get treat

What this, in the end leads to, is thousands of children that grow up to be conditioned to follow behind anyone that says something and includes the words 'God' and/or 'Christ' or some related verbal command. I think the term is 'brain washing' and it's illegal under several conventions. And that's what i have to say on that for now. And your thoughts? Please feel free to comment.

Also, as an aside, i saw a shirt on a child today that almost moved me to say something, but i bite my tounge. "CSI: Christians Should Investigate" I was thinking, 'investigate what?' Should they have tier very own Crime Scene investigation squad? Where they go and poke around a murder untill they say, "The devil did it, and (insert current Christian target here) made the murder do it."
If you ask me, it should say, "CSI: Christians Should be Investigated"

Huzzah, this turned out to include a rant about Christianity, something I'm out of practice with. Anyway, comment on this, and I'll see it in 2 weeks!

There actually is a book where a guy, who was an atheist, investigated christianity. It's called The Case for Christ, in case you're interested.

I hope you had a good time in Scotland, I hear it's beautiful. I think my cousin was just there.

a freind had that book and i read theough some of the chapters. I was not impressed, i forgot the major points i had an issue with, but there were holes in his argument you could put a tanker ship through.

Also, this post is from scotland! :D Check out my LJ for updates on the trip ^_^

Rock on with the Scotland-ness.
Well to tell you the truth I didn't read the book so I wouldn't know.
Glad you're back. I can't wait for your comment to the latest on the board.
