Well, let's see. Hariet stepped down from her supreme court nomination, not that she was going to get it. Tom Delay and several other top White House officials are actually under arrest, as in detained by the police. Yay! And Dub-ay's public image and political agenda are heading twords the trash barrel. Another yay! If things are looking so bad for the leading corrupt rulers of our nation, then why am i still not happy?
It's because the lines of lies and deceit and corruption go deep. Far out of the public eye.
Take, for example, the CIA's foreign prisons. They are exempt from almost all US laws, and foreign laws. They do not need to tell anyone who they have there. they do not need to tell the prisoners why they are there. They have total freedom, and could, in theory, walk up to your house right now as you read this, throw in in a car, then a place, and send you to one of the foreign prisons. They are also called "Black Sites", as in youdont know who's in there, you dont know what comes out of their, and their existence is officially denied.
This was brought to my attention, and the rest of the world's, when a CIA rep asked that their black sites be exempt from an anti-torture bill that is going through the House and Senate. Well buddy, your black sites have just been painted for attack by every single political and ethics blogger out their. Smooooth.
In other news, the pan to update 3 times a week obviously isnt going to work. So, i'll try to update twice a week, and once every 7 days is mandatory. That said, i'll get to work on a rant on Friday asap!
